1. Who we are
GlacierStreams ("GlacierStreams," "the app," "we," "us," or "our") is a media player application developed and published by Four Plains LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States, as part of the AllStreams platform. This policy applies to the GlacierStreams app across all platforms it is distributed on (iOS, Android, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Windows) and to the AllStreams website at allstreams.dev. Four Plains LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information as described here.
2. What GlacierStreams is
GlacierStreams is a media player. It lets you import your own IPTV playlist (M3U, M3U8, or Xtream Codes) and play the streams that playlist points to. It is a playback tool only.
GlacierStreams does not provide, host, supply, curate, or distribute any television channels, live broadcasts, streaming content, or media of any kind, and includes no preloaded channels, playlists, or subscriptions. All content is supplied by the playlist you import. You are solely responsible for the playlists you use and for ensuring they comply with the laws in your jurisdiction.
3. Information we collect
GlacierStreams does not collect any personal information. The app runs entirely on your device and works completely offline. It has no analytics, no crash-reporting, no tracking, and no accounts.
Information stored only on your device
Everything you set up in GlacierStreams is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else:
- Your imported playlists and playlist URLs / login details
- Your channel groups, favorites, and custom ordering
- Your EPG (program guide) source settings
- Your app preferences (theme, parental-control PIN, view settings)
- Your playback history within the app
This information never leaves your device. We have no server, no database, and no way to see any of it.
Information you send us directly
The only time we receive any information from you is if you choose to email us. In that case we receive what you put in your message (such as your email address and what you write) and use it only to reply to you. Emailing us is entirely optional and is never required to use the app.
4. What this means in practice
Because GlacierStreams is fully offline and collects nothing, it does not:
- Require you to create an account or sign in
- Ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app
- Store your playlists or settings on any server
- Track, log, or transmit which specific streams you watch
- Run any analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting
- Show ads or share anything with advertisers
- Collect your location
- Access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
5. How we use information
Because GlacierStreams does not collect any personal information, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, profile, or share. The data you create in the app is used only by the app, on your device, to provide the features you asked for. If you email us, we use your message solely to respond to you.
6. No third-party services or partners
GlacierStreams does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. We do not embed any software development kits (SDKs) that collect data about you, and we do not share information with any partners, because we do not collect any in the first place.
One thing to be aware of: GlacierStreams does not control the servers that host the streams referenced in the playlist you import. When you play a stream, your device connects directly to whatever server your playlist points to, and that server may receive your device's IP address under its own policies. That connection is between you and your playlist provider — it does not involve us, and we never see it.
7. App stores
If you download GlacierStreams from an app store (such as Apple's App Store or Google Play), that store handles the download under its own privacy policy. Any statistics the store shows us are aggregate and anonymized (for example, total download counts) and cannot identify you. We receive nothing else from the stores about you.
8. Your playlists
Your playlists are yours. They are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, read, index, or back them up to our servers. If you delete the app, your locally stored playlists and settings are removed with it.
Because GlacierStreams plays only the playlists you supply, you are responsible for ensuring any playlist or stream you import complies with all applicable copyright laws and licensing terms in your country. Four Plains LLC makes no representation regarding the legality of any third-party content you access through the app.
9. Data retention
Because we don't collect your data, we have nothing to retain. The information you create in the app stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. Because GlacierStreams does not collect or hold any personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of the data on your device:
- Delete all app data: uninstall GlacierStreams, which removes your locally stored playlists and settings from your device.
- Any question: use our contact form and we will respond as required by law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
11. For users in the EEA & UK (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK: GlacierStreams does not collect or process personal data, so there is no processing to consent to, object to, or restrict, and no data for us to hold, port, or erase on our side. The data you create stays on your device under your control and can be removed by uninstalling the app. You still have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, and you can contact us with any question through our contact form.
12. For California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and have not done so in the preceding 12 months. To make a request, use our contact form. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
13. Children's privacy
GlacierStreams is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us through our contact form and we will delete it. The app includes optional PIN-based parental controls to restrict access to specific channels or groups within your own playlist.
14. Security
Because your playlists and settings live on your device rather than on our servers — and because we collect nothing — your device's own security is the primary safeguard for your information. We encourage using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date. No method of storage is completely secure, but since your data never leaves your device, it is never exposed in transit to us or anyone else.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice in the app or on allstreams.dev. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
16. Contact us
Questions about this policy or how we handle your information? Reach us any time through our contact form and we'll get back to you.
